Position Description: Acting under the direction of the Enterprise Services Supervisor and the Infrastructure Management Office Manager, this position supports the activities related to the installation, implementation, administration, maintenance, security and documentation of infrastructure server systems, storage systems and enterprise infrastructure applications in accordance with established procedures and policies.

Position Title: Senior Database Administrator
Department: Management Information Services
Reports To: Data Center Manager
Position Description:
The Senior Database Administrator is responsible for all database management functions for the Administrative Office of the Courts. The Administrator will be responsible for the strategic planning, managing, and support of all database applications. Working with other database administrators, performs database tasks such as security planning, architecture design, performance tuning, capacity planning, backups monitoring, maintenance, trouble shooting, and change control activities. The Senior Administrator provides key data recommendations and best practice solutions to project teams and governance committees as requested. Will be responsible for all activities associated with the management and operation of database platforms: implementing data models and designs, creating database tables, indexes, triggers and views to support new and existing applications, design and implementing incremental and full backup policies and procedures, monitoring database size and performance, tuning SQL queries, developing prototypes to demonstrate proposed functionality, produce support documentation, and provide production support. Install SQL Server software and oversee upgrades and patches, facilitate root cause analysis on database issues, manage security of application access to databases, perform benchmarking analysis to properly size hardware platforms, and maintain technical documentation relating to database management. Ensure compliance with RDBMS license agreement. Principal responsibilities include ensuring data integrity, data security and performance of production databases. Support the development of data loads and extracts. Run diagnostics and maintain operation logs and documentation. Provide on-call support as needed.

Qualification and Requirements: To qualify to set on the PMI Oklahoma City Board of Directors, candidates must be PMI OKC members in good standing and hold one of any of the PMI certifications (CAPM, PMI-SP, PMI-RMP, PMP, or PgMP). Candidates should submit their interest in one of the below positions with a brief paragraph of their bio and their vision for serving PMI OKC in this position. Total work should not exceed 250 words. Nominees may be self-nominated or nominated by others. Submissions should be sent to nomination@pmiokc.org. Entries will be published in the in program for the PMI OKC Annual Dinner (when the election will be held). VP of Programs: Responsible for planning, scheduling, arranging, and supervising the performance of each PMI event; directs the development of a program theme for the year; plans, schedules, and arranges Chapter program meetings; develops awards plan to recognize Chapter achievements; Master of ceremonies for each Chapter meeting. "
