2008 Proposed Chapter Bylaws

The PMI OKC Chapter Board of Directors has approved changes to the chapter bylaws. The chapter bylaws have been submitted to and approved by PMI GOC. They must now be approved by the PMI OKC chapter members. If you are a member of the PMI OKC chapter, please review the 2008 proposed bylaws in 'downloads' section of this website. Members will be asked to vote on the revised bylaws at the April 17 chapter meeting.

Brief Position Description:

Works closely with Project Team of Engineers, Junior Schedulers, Vendors and Client reps in recommending project goals and evaluating project status
Maintains project controls using Primavera 3.1 or 5.0
Able to integrate project schedules into overall master program schedule, etc .

Seeking Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Implementation Specialist with extensive experience utilizing software development methodologies to guide software development projects.

Duties: Provides unique information systems analysis, design, documentation, and implementation assistance on problems, which require in-depth, state-of-the-art knowledge of a specialized information engineering discipline for effective implementation. Such specialized knowledge can only be achieved through intensive, extensive, and continuous application of the specialty at a level far exceeding that of the more general and broad based information engineering requirements of the analyst/programmer. May participate in all phases of task performance with emphasis on requirements development, planning, analysis and design, and testing and acceptance phases. Prepares and delivers presentations and briefings as required by the task. Provides management with status of projects, problems or other outstanding project related issues.

Volunteers Needed for Project Heartline

IT&T SIG and the PMI Oklahoma City Chapter need volunteers for Project HeartLine, a joint project to help out a very worhtwhile cause in Oklahoma City. HeartLine is a non-profit based in Oklahoma City that provides a number of telecom dependent, critical services to the Oklahoma City area.
